The end of the beginning..or the beginning of the end?

OK - a bit of roof is in place. Now when it rains the water hits the partial roof over the second floor and then runs to the unfininshed lower floor . It still ends up in the basement, but at least the volume of water collecting in my house (which I now think of as a huge bucket) is somewhat reduced.

Framing of the second floor bedroom and den/sitting room (we still don't know what to call it is moving along.
