In late 2002, Heidi and
I went to a Peter Gabriel concert in Toronto. Is wasn't quite what I
had been hoping for. I jotted some comments
on the event, but didn't publish them, preferring to say nothing. Last friday, I picked up the DVD from the tour. And hey, what do you know, it's miles better. You're up close, you can crank the volume if you want, you can skip the mediocre bits... More proof that Glenn Gould was way ahead of his time. |

Andrew and I had a go at
the NASTAR race at Holiday Valley yesterday.
Andrew earned a bronze
medal, and I qualified for a silver.
It was fun, but we still have quite a bit of work to
do. I only placed 16th out of 24 other racers (in my age
group) who have tried the course this year. I'm sure
Andrew's time will improve, he is training with the Milton Heights
Racing Club
snowboard team on Mondays, but I'm much less confident that I will
get any better. Maybe I need more expensive equipment! |
