So, on 19 April 2005, Heidi and I
had been married for 20 years. We
thought that was worth celebrating.
We took off for a short but indulgent
stay at the Parrot Cay resort on the
Turks and Caicos islands in the
Caribbean. It's a remarkable place.
The facilities and the service were
outstanding. And the location,
somewhat isolated from the main
resort areas of Turks and Caicos,
was ideal.
We spent all of our time unwinding
at the resort and its lovely beach. It
would have been nice to stay a little
bit longer, and It's not an easy
place to get to from Toronto, at
least not in April when the main
tourist traffic has slowed, but it is
worth the effort. We really enjoyed
it.
