It has been a pretty good summer for us, beginning in June with a reunion of sorts at our home in Oakville. It was a great opportunity to get reacquainted with Jim Tiessen, Steve Bates and Monica Buza, as well as Liz and Glenn Curtis and assorted youngsters. Heidi and I really enjoyed seeing old friends again. Unfortunately we haven't had any further contact since June...was is something we said??

• Andrew played on a soccer team...and his Dad coached.
• We visited the Pinery in July, and had such a great time we went back again in August.
• Heidi and I thought that our personal debt was getting a little bit too low, so we went out and bought a car.
• We have been picking away at our backyard remodelling project, this summer we added a play fort, a small brick retaining wall, and various new trees and shrubberies.
• My mum and dad had a pool built in early July and we have been wearing a track down Woodhaven Park Drive to make use of this latest amenity.
