How do you like my new logo? It's amazing what you can achieve without any artistic ability whatsoever, if you have the right software.
The past several months have been interesting for us here in Oakville. Probably the most significant events were that my brother Craig got married and that Andrew started school.
The closest school to our house has been mothballed for close to 10 years, as the aging population in our neighbourhood couldn't support it. Heidi has been actively trying to find a way to save it from being sold. Here is a letter she sent to the school board.
Every year, we try to go up to Heidi's cottage for Thanksgiving; and this year we were blessed a terrific day for a walk up "the mountain".
The Fall edition of Dispatches contained quite several pictures from our camping trips to Pinery Provincial Park. Even though it is becoming a distant memory, I want to show you one more. This is Andrew earning his stripes as a "Junior Friend of the Pinery".
We didn't have many ghosts or goblins at our house this Halloween, but a huge skunk and a rather smallish bear did wander into our living room.
They say you can't go home again. Well I don't know about that. We went back to Guelph this fall and had a delightful time, thank you very much.
I have had my nose to the grindstone at the Bank, but I am coming to the end of my term in the Credit Department. No I am not going to mbark on a new career at mbanx, no I am moving all of one floor, from 23 to 24, in First Canadian Place to become a Finance Director, covering a portfolio of Canadian corporate accounts. If you want more details, you'll have to email me..I won't bore you with that sort of stuff here.
Cheers,
Stuart
