I want my Mac OS

Being a Macintosh supporter used to be easy. Even when Microsoft caught on to the benefits of graphical computing, the initial versions of Windows were pathetic and the hugely popular version 3 was still no better than a clunky Mac wanabee operating system.

However things have changed over the past 3 years. With the availability of Windows 95 and Windows NT, many of the obvious Mac benefits have been eliminated. Windows now dominates the market with a product that seems to be easy enough for most people, has more and cheaper software titles and which seems to be less prone to crashes tha recent versions of the Mac OS.

Why then would anyone with a least bit of common sense keep using the Mac? There are a bunch of not very good reasons, and one great reason.

The not very good ones range from the force of habit to sheer contrariness. When I figure out the great reason I will let you know. In the meantime I plan to keep on using the Mac OS until [as a recent advertisement put it] "they pry it from my cold dead fingers".
