Ahhh....Summer. It's finally here. And while I am off enjoying summer, you are staring at picture of me on a computer screen. Silly you!!!
But step back a few months. Since publishing the Spring edition of "Dispatches" many people have said very nice things to me about this web site. Some even said some not so nice things about my spelling....but that's OK....I like feedback, and I will try to improve my spelling.
Today is the first day of summer, and we have had a busy weekend beginning with a concert on the lake with Buffy Sainte-Marie.
Pssst...wanna see a picture of a bald guy in a hole.
The annual Bank of Montreal freeze-a-thon at Canada's Wonderland provided a pleasant surprise this year....decent weather.
I'm working backwards in time with this edition. Buffy Sainte-Marie in June, down a hole in May, Wonderland in April. Now lets see, what else happened in April. Oh yeah, I remember. Andrew turned 6.
An old friend of mine in Guelph has a web site too. He is a teacher, and his web site proudly proclaims its support of public education. Always the contrarian, I hereby declare this website to be a proud critic of public education. Here is another website with the same point of view
Cheers,
Stuart
