I never liked the idea of Canada's Wonderland much. Having Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters wandering around a roller coaster park seemed to be just a poor man's Disneyland. For the most part, that's exactly what it is.
But every year, in the early spring before the park opens to the public, Bank of Montreal submits its employees as guinea pigs for a crop of freshly minted summer students who have almost learned how to operate the death defying rides, but need some wiling victims to perfect their craft.
The price is right, even if the weather is very iffy. So we have been going for 4 or 5 years. Last year it snowed, and if you were masochistic enough to stick around in sub-zero temperatures until 4 pm, you got a free pass to come back for more of the same, with bigger crowds during the summer.
This year it was beautiful. Andrew and Colin were joined by Michael, from Andrew's school, and they went on a bunch of neat, for them, rides, including this balloon ride.
