Here's the obligatory blowing out the candle picture. We played all the usual games, and also had our usual obstacle course in our basement. The kids all went home stuffed with cake and exhausted. I suppose that means it was a success.
And later in the Spring, Andrew turned eight. He invited a few of his closest personal friends to PAR-TEE until bedtime and beyond. Mum and dad waited patiently for the noise to die down while the revelers kept going till they conked out around 11. Andrew took his own pictures and after the fact we discovered a little of what really went on. This is probably the kind of picture that will embarass Andrew in years to come, so get a good look before I am pressured into taking it off the net.
