This week’s photochallenge is “illumination”, and here is my response.
It’s a shot from my office window, first thing in the morning when the night crews are still working on the excavation to expand the subway platform at Union Station.
The klieg lights on the work-site are juxtaposed with window reflections from the overhead lights in my office.
Not exactly museum quality, I know. But it’s all I could come up with before the Friday deadline.

You may not think that this is great photography but I really liked the contrast between the trees on the roof top of the near by building and the machines working away down where the roots should be!
