I’m at…

… the Brooklyn Academy of Music for a Steve Reich and Philip Glass concert. I am a happy camper.

Update

The concert, nearly 3 hours, was amazing. Reich did “4 Organs” which I have on vinyl, but haven’t heard since I retired my turntable, oh..25 years ago. Then he did the complete “Drumming”‘ aka “Music to drive Heidi crazy”. It was…sublime. Glass did a series of excerpts, “Einstein on the Beach”, “Koyaanisqatsi”, etc. He had some moments, but for me, Reich resonated more.
