We didn’t really expect to take another trip to Europe this summer, but when Andrew got an internship at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne it was kind of inevitable that we would visit him.
We started in the south of France, in Montpellier, and drove through Provence, stopping at Aix-en-Provence, before hitting the Côte d’Azur (Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Monaco and Menton in one day).
When we reached Italy, we headed north to Switzerland. We spent the weekend with Andrew in Neuchâtel, including a day in the Jungrfrau region of les Alpes.
When Andrew returned to work in Monday, we headed to Lausanne, took the Golden Pass Railway to Luzern for our final destination.
