Things have changed

Losing a job is near the top of the list when it comes to stressful life events, so when it happened to me last fall I did not know what to expect.

However, since leaving CIBC, I have been flattered and humbled by the kind wishes and support provided by my many friends, far too many to acknowledge individually.  I often felt like George Bailey at the end of “It’s a Wonderful Life”, when the whole town turned out to save him from ruin.

To everyone who provided encouragement, guidance, advice or bought me coffee or lunch over the past 5 months, I want to extend my sincere appreciation.

I also want to let you know that I have accepted a position at Prudential Financial in Newark, NJ.  Its a great opportunity.  I start in May, and Heidi will join me after we sell our house in Oakville.
