This is an amazing exhibit at the Morgan Library (only ’till next weekend, sorry). It a room full of bits and bobs signed by, or written by, just about every famous person you could imagine from the past 500 years, including:
- Francis Drake
- Leon Trotsky
- Ernest Shackleton
- Hirohito
- The Beatles
- Mata Hari
- Charles Darwin
- Elizabeth I
- Stephen Hawking
- Winston Churchill
- etc., etc.
It’s fascinating.
