The Last BABO

For the last 15 years, or so, we have hosted a backyard fireworks party for friends and neighbours. We call it “BABO” because, when everyone Brings A Big One, you get a pretty good show.

This year we experimented with hot air lanterns, which was pretty cool, and without small kids, the grown ups got to play with sparklers, which hasn’t happened before. We are saying that this could be the last, because our kids are at, or approaching, the point where they will be off doing their own thing.
