The office was closed because of COVID-19 and I needed something to replace my daily walks to and from the train station. So I started going for a walk down to the Hudson River every morning. On 6 July 2020, I started taking a picture of downtown Manhattan every time I went on Hoboken’s Pier A. It ended on 15 September 2021, when I took the 225th picture. The vast majority were taken between 7:12 and 7:20 a.m. on weekdays. A few were taken later in the day, on weekends. There are gaps whenever we left town. One was a night shot, taken on 15 May, on our way back from our first dinner at a restaurant since the second wave of the the pandemic hit. One was taken by HVW.
The collage shows them all, in chronological order. A magnifying glass might be needed.
I will keep walking, but I think I need to point my camera (phone) somewhere else.
It’s been a while since we had a daily commute update
and this one is certainly different! Keep on walking and
posting.!!!
Thanks, Amy B.
